Rain gutters can connect several umbrellas into one unit, greatly increasing the area that is protected from the elements. Rain gutters can also connect umbrellas to adjacent buildings.
The rain gutters for our umbrellas are conically manufactured, and when attached to the umbrellas they provide a slight decline to ensure good drainage. A water-stop on the other end protects from overflow in very heavy rain. Now we offer cantilever gutters for the single edge of an umbrella.

Lighting extends the time spent outdoors way passed the sunset hours. Restaurant outdoor dining is simply not complete without a lighted outdoor space where people can linger longer, - enjoying another drink or dinner with friends.

We are supplying lighting fixtures with our umbrellas for the past 15 years. They are our most popular optional item. The OSRAM fixtures we install on our umbrellas are very economical to operate and give soft, glare-free light. We can install 4 light fixtures on the mast for our Type T umbrellas and 4 or 6 fixtures on the roof arms of our larger umbrellas.

The infrared heaters we supply with our umbrellas have numerous advantages over the stand-alone gas heaters often used in the outdoors. They provide directed heat, have no large "foot-print", don't take oxygen out of the surrounding and don't have the same kind of fire hazard gas heaters are known for.

The new generation of infrared heating elements that we use for the Uhlmann umbrellas are extreme shock resistant, (survive even direct contact with water), provide 5000 hours of service life, use very little energy compared to other electric heaters, and are very efficient. The heating elements use a frequency that is similar to sunshine. The heat warms the people sitting under the umbrella, not the air, that can blow away with the smallest breeze.

With side panels, heaters and lights a very comfortable outdoor room can be created even in harsh weather. A perfect solution to add an instant room for for smokers effected by smoking bans.

The most common accessory to any size commercial umbrella is a valence that is printed with the name or logo of the establishment. Now we offer long lasting, high quality screen printing in-house, with up to 6 colors. We can print on the roof top of the umbrella up to 340x116cm or about 11x4 feet. Text or images on the valance can be 27cm high, or about 10.5 inches.
