With Mr. Uhlmann's retirement the company changed ownership, but we stayed committed to uphold and improve the same principles that made our product different from its mess-produced counterparts, such as the simple but elegant design, use of the highest quality materials, precision engineering and individual attention to details during the whole manufacturing process. We pride ourselves to provide our customers with the best products, at the best prices, with the best service.
To insure that we can satisfy our customers' growing demand in a timely manner, we are growing ourselves. The number of our employees grew from 12 to 35, we reorganized and modernized our production facilities, and now we have printing capabilities in house to better serve our customers. We can print eye-catching text, your logos or designs, even photographic images (up to 380x180 cm) on your umbrella panels or its valences.

We manufacture more than 2000 umbrellas a year and export about 65% of the production to Austria, England, France, Holland, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Russia and the Middle East. Thirtysix umbrellas represented us in London at the 2012 Olympic Games. The Uhlmann Giant Umbrellas are now showing up in increasing numbers in the USA and Canada.
In Germany we are exclusive providers of giant umbrellas for the McDonald Corporation, Burger King and Vapiano Coffee, and countless restaurant, pubs, bars, cafes, private clubs, tennis and golf clubs, guesthouses, retail shops, schools, kindergartens, retirement homes and insurance companies sport the Uhlmann Giant Umbrellas.
