The Type TL and TLx Giant Umbrella are the perfect choice when a strong and durable umbrella is desired for large area shelter from sun and rain. These "giants of the umbrella world" are stunning in their dimensions. Covering areas from 20 to 80 square meter (250 to 850 square feet), they are large enough to cover an entire patio. Square and rectangular umbrellas can be connected to provide weather shade for extremely large areas.

Built with 10 or 12 exceptionally strong arms, the Type TL and TLx Giant Umbrella are available in 26 standard sizes. But if you have a hard-to-fit place where none of our 100 plus umbrella size is a perfect fit, we can still accommodate you. Just let us know your dimensions. Actually, all Uhlmann umbrellas are made to order. We just have more standard sizes than most umbrella manufacturers!

We offer all optional accessories for our TL/TLX umbrellas also. Side sheets are especially popular with these giant umbrellas. They can create a sizable room "on demand", equipped with ambient lighting and infrared heating for true comfort. Two size of "window" panels allow to see outside, standing or sitting. The huge surface of a roof panel offers excellent advertising space.

In addition to commercial applications, the Type TL and TLx Giant Umbrellas find excellent applications in city parks, play grounds and school grounds, and many theme parks where a safe, strong and durable umbrella is a must.
